The venues patrons come back to are the ones that thought of everything. Wireless charging keeps your digital infrastructure working, your patrons connected from first drink to last, and gives your venue the same loyalty advantage that free WiFi created in 2010.

15% of patrons have left a venue early because their phone battery died. They don't complain. They don't ask for help. They quietly gather their things and go — and you'll never know why visit frequency drops.
But the damage begins before they leave. For the 3 in 5 Australians who feel panic when their battery alert appears (Qualcomm, December 2025), attention shifts from enjoying the moment to managing logistics: Can I pay my bill? How do I get home? What if someone needs to reach me? A patron under low-battery stress is distracted, disengaged, and looking for the exit — regardless of how good everything else is.
By 5pm on a typical evening, the majority of your patrons are in this state. The problem never surfaces in your reporting. There's no complaint to action, no feedback form to review — only slightly shorter sessions and slightly lower return visit rates.

The wireless phone chargers from Stay Charged have been a fantastic addition to our venue. The peace of mind that comes with knowing their devices are safely charging next to them has been a huge win for our patrons.
At first people thought it was a bar coaster but when they learn they can charge their phone they love the idea and actually stay longer within the premises. Would highly recommend to any hospitality venue.
The charging pads are a hit, especially with guests playing activities — they love being able to charge their devices effortlessly while staying engaged. Installation was straightforward and hassle-free.

The moment a patron sees a charger in the table and places their phone down, something changes. The background anxiety switches off. They stop calculating their exit and start being present in your venue.
They order another round. They stay for the next act. They engage with the people they came with. And when they leave — on their own terms, with a charged battery — they leave thinking: "That venue thought of everything."
That thought is what drives them back. It is what helps earn your five-star Google review. It is what gets mentioned when a friend asks where to go. 46% of patrons say they would order more and stay longer at a venue that offers charging — and none of them will ever explain why they didn't at a venue that didn't.
57% of Australians have resorted to charging in unconventional places — airports, petrol stations, and public restrooms — just to stay connected (Qualcomm, December 2025). When a patron's battery hits the red zone, they act. If your venue doesn't offer charging, they act by leaving.
Your venue runs on connected phones. Mobile wallet payments account for 44% of in-person transactions. QR ordering, loyalty apps, and contactless check-in all depend on a patron having a working phone in their hand.
A dead phone doesn't just end a patron's evening. It takes your digital revenue systems offline — one table at a time, all night long — without ever appearing in your P&L.
Wireless charging keeps the digital infrastructure you've already invested in running the way it was designed to. Your loyalty programme works. Your QR ordering works. Your payment flow works. All night.

A dead phone doesn't just shorten a visit — it blocks your venue's digital infrastructure entirely. 44% of in-person transactions are now made via mobile wallet (Reserve Bank of Australia, 2022–2024), and 38% of Australians left home without a physical wallet in 2022 (ABA, 2023). For a patron with a dead phone: no payment, no QR ordering, no loyalty app — for the rest of the night.

In 2010, expensive data plans were the connectivity bottleneck. Venues that offered free WiFi won loyalty. By 2015, patrons expected it. By 2020, nobody mentioned it — it was just there. The venues that moved early owned the "modern venue" reputation while it still meant something. Those who waited just caught up.
Battery life is now the same bottleneck data once was. Phones are essential for payment, ordering, navigation, and safety — not just leisure. The venues solving that constraint first will hold the same positioning advantage that early WiFi adopters held for years.
Wireless charging in 2026 is where WiFi was in 2010. The window to own this as a differentiator is open now. It won't stay open.
When low-battery anxiety is removed, patrons settle in. They order another round. They stay for the next act. They stop calculating when they need to leave.
"Customers love it and actually stay longer within the premises." — Mark Warren, Director, Gumeracha Hotel
Wireless charging tells patrons something without saying a word: this venue thought about your visit. That signal builds the kind of loyalty that brings people back.
"The peace of mind that comes with knowing their devices are safely charging next to them has been a huge win for our patrons." — Ethan Dean, Club Blacktown
No cables to replace, no staff fielding charging requests, no cables scattered across surfaces. The infrastructure operates maintenance-free once installed.
Unlike rental kiosk models, integrated wireless charging is yours. On your balance sheet. No third-party dependency, no commission split, no risk of a service provider exiting the market.

Both products can be installed in 5–10 minutes per unit, as long as 240V power is available at the installation point. Most installations are completed without disruption to trading. For retrofits, installations are completed in the early morning pre-trading hours (5:00 AM to 10:00 AM). For new installations, the chargers are usually installed by the joinery company.

Qi2.2 is the latest global wireless charging standard. It introduces magnetic alignment (phones snap into the correct position automatically, every time) and 25W fast charging — enough to take a phone from 15% to 50% in approximately 30 minutes. This is the standard that makes wireless charging reliably useful in a venue environment, rather than the inconsistent early versions many venues tried and abandoned.
Virtually none. No moving parts, no software updates required. Simply wipe-clean surfaces when needed during regular cleaning. Commercial-grade units are designed for years of maintenance-free operation in high-traffic environments.
A medium venue of 80 units returns approximately $1,271 per month on conservative assumptions — 2% patron impact, peak evenings only, no ancillary spend included. That's full payback inside 9 months on a one-time investment.
But the real case isn't the monthly figure. It's the patron who leaves thinking "that venue thought of everything." It's the five-star review that mentions the charger. It's the regular who comes back because your venue was the one that made them feel looked after.
